Posted - 31/10/2010 : 14:51:39 I stumbled across your site while looking for ideas for an outdoor enclosure..hopefully to house my juvenile Salamandra salamandra terrestris. I have always enjoyed amphibians from when I was very young...many many moons ago. I currently have 4 young Salamandra salamandra terrestris, 3 Triturus marmoratus and 3 axolotl. This year my children cleared out an old pond , this was going to be for the native newts and frogs...but my plans where foiled when my aged parents donated some large goldfish. None the less I have seen frogs of various sizes lurking in the pond, so all may not be lost. I am looking forward to reading the posts and hopefully getting some new ideas. |
