Posted - 10/03/2011 : 03:26:37 We recently purchased an aquarium that has a 2 ft. Caecilian and some other fish. He escaped and wasn't found for 18 hours. He is alive but the last 4 or so inchs of his tail do not look like they are reacting like the rest of him. Is there anything I can do? |

Posted - 12/03/2011 : 17:45:17 I am so sorry to here that. As they are wonderful creatures. They are escape masters though. Mine has gotten out twice on me. The first time I heard it hit the floor while I was watching TV. The next time it got out and ran the cat DMZ zone and I found her under my stove, with a cat staring at it. She was limp and stuck to the floor, but forunatly, she made it. I had to rinse the dog and cat fur off her, but she is still fine. Once again, I'm sorry for your loss. |
