Posted - 12/02/2009 : 01:31:17 No probs... glad I read up on that now, and actually remembered that little tidbit!! See... just goes to show my age and blonde roots are not always on display.... I'm sure you'll find something just as good.. have you looked at any bromliads... some of them are really stunning, and wide leaved mostly, so great for froggies to climb on, although my whites seem to like some of the air plants I've put in the main tank.... not sure how long they'll live, but they look nice...J |

Hi Dan... lovely looking set up, and great frogs... is that and 18x18x24 exo terra??
Here's the page I mentioned on a cham site where it said one of the Umbrella plants is toxic...
http://webhome.idirect.com/~chameleon/owners/chapter2-sub5.html Where it say's Umbrella plant it has the double star at the bottom and this note... ** Not to be confused with another "umbrella" plant, Schefflera actinophylla which is toxic.
It may be that its not a schefflera in there, but that plant really does look like a variegated shcefflera that I used to have... J
Hi, thanks very much for bringing that to my attention. Not sure if you've seen my reply on TCS but it was an umbrella plant and i have taken it out now, all the frogs seem fine so hopefully I got lucky this time. Will definatly take alot more care when choosing live plants from now on. The tank is a 45x45x60 Looking quite bare at the moment, especially sinse ive taken the plant out. I will pick up some more foliage etc to go in soon
haha, Thanks Kaz.
