Posted - 25/08/2009 : 22:07:44 Im a bit confused. Shortly after turning the water fall on in my Mossies tank I noticed one clinging onto another. Baring in mind that these are three unsexed Frogs. It looked as if they were trying to mate. Though the one on bottom looked like it was trying to escape, not enjoying the experience. They eventually split up and both went off in seperate directions.
I took a couple of photos but they're not very good.
Just been up to check on them again and these same two are together again. This time they're in a kinda... how do I put this... Head to Tail position (?)
Could this be breeding behaviour or is one being bullied?
Thanks! |

Posted - 26/08/2009 : 21:28:02 Thanks, Punkman! It would be nice if they are. I have read that caresheet, but only skimmed over the breeding section. I will go have a read of it now, Thanks again! |

Posted - 26/08/2009 : 12:31:56 they could be breeding, but most adult male toads-frogs will amplex others whether they are male or female when they are feeling in the mood lol. fingers crossed they are male and female and you end up with eggs in the future
have you seen this care sheet? http://www.saurian.net/htm05/froginfo_mossyfrogcare.html |
