Keep us up to speed with how you get on. From what I'm reading, both frogs and leo's like both mealies and beetles.. I think I am more ready to give those a go than crickets or roaches... eeuchh!!
My friend took a sample tube full of Bluebottles home from our lab for her Leo. He was leaping around his viv like a loon catching/munching them. Food and a work-out all in one handy tube .

Posted - 25/11/2008 : 20:28:17 We got mites, millions of them the size of pin heads! and we'll be chucking the lot. You can get them if your culture is too damp - but we got ours from a mite loaded batch from a pet shop which ruined the rest of our culture - Fed the last living beetles to the toads and will be starting again. |

He's thinking of starting a wood lice colony too. Sounds like a good idea because live food isn't expensive really, but I bet it all adds up in the long run. |
