I don't sorry

but if you ring up your local reptile vet they should either be able to help or point you in the right direction

Keep us informed

Thanks for the replys, the substrate is fairly large gravel, i have to say it looks like she is swollen with air, but she has been like it for quite a while, she shows no sign of illness, she is eating and swimming well,.
Does anyone know if there are any Axolotl specialists in the North Kent/South East london area?

Cheers
John

Another thing is, is his substrate sand or gravel? Gravel when swallowed can cause impaction in the bowels, you should always use sand in an axolotl aquarium as this passes straight through. Oh and yeah, I used to keep one.

Has he swallowed any air or gravel?

Is his swimming wonky? Any floatation?

Any pics?

If it's just air it will right itself, but if it's something more serious like bloat or a bacterial infection you'll need to get it treated asap.

What temps is he at? I would keep it cool at around 7-10 degrees until it's sorted.
