Posted - 19/05/2010 : 20:45:44 Yeah, I've had to learn on the fly with some of my critters, but thankfully it's turned out alright. By the way, my ceacilian worm is doing fantastic! |

Posted - 19/05/2010 : 09:54:55 That's a great naming story
It is awful when you get owners like that, but it's a common problem. Too many reptiles and amphibians are bought by people who don't bother to research how to care for them.
I blame the reletive cheapness of them. They are regarded like Goldfish - cheap so disposible |

Posted - 12/05/2010 : 23:13:32 First it's actually a male. A guy I used to work with had it for his kid and got bored with it so he was going to just let it go! Do you beleive that, people amaze me. But I talked him to giving it to me instead, but knew nothing about them and every question I asked him, like what does it eat, when, and how, he answered me with "I don't know, Amy did that" (his wife). So after about ten questions like this I told him I was naming it Amy and buying a book! Being a man of my word, thats what I did!!LOL |
