Posted - 07/09/2009 : 21:23:06 I have recently been having problems with mold in my fire bellied toads tank. I have changed the substrate and the mold came right back. The mold even grew on my toads head. What can I do to stop the mold from coming back without harming him and is there anyway to clean it off of him?

Posted - 08/09/2009 : 17:34:59 Thanks! I used to have a 5 gallon plastic tank. I decided right after I posted for the first time to throw everything out and get new stuff in hopes of getting rid of the mold issue. If it comes back up again then I will take a picture and post it but for now everything is cleared up. The new tank does have more ventilation so hopefully you are right and I won't have a problem anymore. |
