Posted - 05/02/2009 : 15:13:59 Lewy has decided he wants either a Cain toad or a Pixie frog when he gets the study sorted and manages to get a free tank off freecycle... but I think they are both really ugly phibs!
Lewy says that them being fugly makes him like them more. Does anyone else agree with him? |

Posted - 05/02/2009 : 20:50:15 I still like waxy monkey frogs, but know nothing about them... I'm going to have to do some research... got lots of time until the study is converted to half rep-room though. |

Posted - 05/02/2009 : 20:24:59 The more they look like jabba the better I think. I want a cain toad called Michael. I'd have to think of a cool name for a pyxie though. I've been looking a Golden Mantellas which on the other scale of things are really little, cute and delicate... It's the setup I like about keeping things like those... but I'm unsure about culturing fruit flies... seems like a mission. Crickets grass hoppers, worms, mealies are fine... will have to get a culture and find out first. |

Posted - 05/02/2009 : 20:17:13 I like the fugly ones too ... saw a couple of blue gliding tree frogs at petzone earlier... looked really similar to my whites |

Posted - 05/02/2009 : 18:31:59 Yes Pixies are the African Bull frog (have you been doing your research Matty? I'm impressed! )
There's a particularly ugly one on the photos page in a plant pot.
Yes they do get big, I think that's why Lewy wants one. Cain toads are warty ugly though. |
