How long do frogs live? I have no idea. (a bit of a general question maybe)

If properly cared for frogs and toads generaly live quite a bit longer than in the wild, theres even a record of a captive common toad Bufo bufo living for 40 years

Only if you eat them... they produce toxins on their skin to deter from being eaten.
The water needs to be flushed in a setup regularly so the toxins don't build up, otherwise they can be killed by the build up of their own toxins

Get some fire-bellied toads, although they are more aquatic so might not be ideal. They look nice though

I am abit. The tought of having a pet that I can feed daily, dont have to handle if I cant be bothered and whos viv can look very eye catching definatly appeals

From what I have read up on so far about whites tree frogs, they can apparently live up to 15 years..

All depends on the frog in question some can live 10 years plus
