Cliff- the supposed female Square marked toad is being really lazy at the moment.

She's been buried in the soil for about a month now and hardly eats and rarely moves about.

Should we be worried or is it the season to you think?

She looks well, just inactive.

I don't think they do as such, she's not grown herself a crispy outer layer anyway. She's has perked up a bit recently so it must have been a weather thing

That's what I think too.

We added a massive water bowl just in case but nothing happened. I think she's just ready to breed, but Richard isn't bothered.
