I Just got four in the mail.Is it normal for juveniles to act alil bit sleepy or lethargic? They were all suppose to be adults but only one really looks adult, and the rest get smaller then the next on down the line. The two smallest are shade lighter and sleep alot by the warm spots |

Posted - 23/01/2010 : 12:25:29 Can't you use the gift certificate to buy equipment? That should be safe.
Glad they finally did something to please you. I hate bad customer service in life stock stockists. I always think if they don't care about their customers then they probably don't care about their 'phibs either |

Posted - 17/01/2010 : 22:04:31 ya or if all else fails i could jus mail it to you, i mean if it was ever really in desperate need. Ive been using it,but cant tell if its gotten rid of anything, but all my toads are really fat now. General exotics finally returned an email. They sent out a survey to all there customers,an when i got mine i told em exactly how i felt, they gave me a forty dollar gift certificate. Im kinda scared to get phibs from them tho, mainly because mine were jus so infested,i would definitely not ordered from them if id have known the trouble ahead. i think that they have little to none experience with amphibians. |

Posted - 13/01/2010 : 11:17:17 I've never heard of it, but I'd like to know more if it's successful.
Even if it's not avaialable in the UK I'm sure the whole powerful Ebay could help if I ever needed any.
Keep me posted |

Posted - 12/12/2009 : 21:28:27 That's sad to hear. Can't you complain to the shop and get another one free for the breeding program? |

Posted - 10/12/2009 : 21:54:50 OH YA AN TOO TOP IT OFF,ON FURTHER EXAMINATION OF THE TOAD ITSELF,THE SMALLEST ONE HAS A FOOT MISSING ON ITS BACK RIGHT LEG,IT DOESNT SEEM TO BOTHER IT,INFACT IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS THAT WAY SINCE BIRTH,ONLY HAVING A SINGLE DIGIT TOE KINDA ON THAT FOOT,I THOUGHT IT WAS LOOKING FUNNY FOR SUM REASON IT JUS TOOK ME A BIT TO CATCH IT,ITS VERY EASY TO MISS I CAN SEE HOW GENERAL EXOTICS .COM COULD HAVE MISSED IT.I MITE HAVE TO EXCLUDE THAT ONE FROM MY BREEDING PROGRAM. |

Posted - 10/12/2009 : 21:46:41 I was totally ignorant to the fact that toads can carry worms, treating them is definitly the best option,if i knew how i would be a happy man.i feel like im wasting precious time.there is a specialist in sacramento but he wont speak over the phone,i would have to bring him in,an im alil short on cash.so im liteweight freaking out here. |

Posted - 10/12/2009 : 15:11:09 Sounds like a good idea to seperate them just in case.
Worms would put them off their food, but so would the stress of moving to a new home. Best to treat for worms just to be on the safe side. |

Posted - 09/12/2009 : 23:22:43 the two smaller ones actually perked up a bit,but i still havent seen them eat,i may have found the problem,i change the water bowl quite often in one day since they are new to me,upon closer observation i noticed a white worm or worms but at least one kinda of intertwined in some poop,i heard that it is quite common for wild caught toads to have parasites, but i failed to ask if they were captive bred or wild caught.I dont really know what to do about that but i think for starters im gonna seperate the sleepy ones from theactive fat ones because one small one in particular is skinny, wont eat,an jus looks alil odd,did i mention it doesnt act like other ones, when it does unbury itself it kinda walks around like its lost |

Posted - 08/12/2009 : 10:33:22 I've got two Square marked toads and they are ace!
We have two males and they live together very well. In fact they seem to miss eachother when they are seperated.
Simple care needs, interesting temperaments. Recommended! |
