i would like to breed some FTB tadpoles and i would like to figure out how to tell if it is a girl or a boy andhow long the female would be pregnanat for plz tell me thx

The easiest way to tell is to wait for the male to call 
They usually start making noise in the spring, so you'll know you have a male if your favourite TV programme gets interrupted with toad song 
If mating occurs females will spawn within a few hours and tadpoles will hatch in as little as two days - then you'll need to be able to feed up to 200 hungry mouths on bloodworm and daphnia etc.
