Found a newt at work the other night, didnt fancy leaving it to crawl around a DIY store covered in dust, so bought him home for now till i can get down to the river.
Just curious as to which type of newt he is :)

I think it's just a common newt - although he may be a female of the more elaborate varieties 
Hopefully someone else will be along to give a more positive identification later |
