This is Frida and Tash. Picked them up from Donny Show yesterday and they are so cute. They are a species of Fire Salamander (S. s. bernardezi):









There were 3 species of Fire Sals for sale but I got these because they were the best looking and are relatively easy to keep.

She should have really said "our sals" but If It's an excuse to get some cuban tree frogs then fine by me

They were the best at Donny show- all the other species weren't has bright

I love them to bits- especially when they do log fighting or water bowl surfing

how do you do your pics like that lewy?
Im just getting into macro photography... have a Nikon D60 arriving tomorrow and would like some tips...

I put her (gently) into a white cat litter tray that we use for feeding, a bright light above and take the photo (no flash). bright natural daylight is much better, hence why I'm not completely happy with this one. Still freda's cute so I'll let her off... not her fault
