Just registered. One of several forums I use.

I will post some pics soon but I currently have the following (plan to breed those marked * this year)

Newts:

Triturus Mamoratus *
Triturus Dobrogicus * (eggs already)
Triturus Karellini *
Triturs Carnifex white and normal *
Ommatotriton ophryticus
Pachytriton labiatus

Frogs/Toads

Whites tree frogs
White lipped tree frog *possible
Mossy frogs
Green Toads
Yellow Bellied Toads
African Clawed Frogs albino and wild type *possible

Also have a juvenile pair of red sided garter snakes.

Finally a large garden pond and some outdoor enclosures for some of the Europena species.

I keep all European stuff in an insulated shed and in the outdoor enclosures and the other stuff in doors as the heating is easier and cheaper - this is not popular with my wife even after many years!

All for now

Interested in all european newt species and keeper of some. Plus a few tree frogs, toads and red sided garter snakes

Hello Neil!

Are you the same Neil that does the amphibian blog?

You have a great collection. We don't have many newt keepers on here yet so I hope we all learn a lot about them from you
