If you were stuck in the middle of the wilderness with not much hope of survival - who would you rather be stuck with?
Ray Mears who might bore you to death- but at least you might get a good shelter and COOKED fish or badger to eat.
or
Bear Grylls who you might have to beat to death for being annoying and in the mean time would only find you raw snails, soar berries and little frogs to eat?
I'll give you an example. You're faced with a ravine and there's a deep river at the bottom. Ray Mears' answer would be "let's walk along until we find a crossing point"..... BORING!!!!. Bear Grylls would say "looks to be deep enough....BANZAI!!!!!". How much more fun would that be.
You may not die of hunger with either of them but you'd die of boredom with Ray
Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?
