Phibs and fish are usually the first to go

They are both too sensitive to polluted water.

Not that I want to worry anyone (much), but if the phibs go, we are well on the way to being screwed..... we are far more closely interlinked in this eco system than a lot of people realise.... so get your ponds up and running in your gardens as well as doing what you can for the captive populations....

If I had a brain, I'd be dangerous......
