I wouldn't recommend mixing, I've seen it done but the people that do it risk the health of the animals. Most of the time each animal has it's own habitat requirements so if you get the habitat right for one the others will suffer. whether it's temperature humidity, even down to fighting over food.
I always think it's better to be safe.
Oh and welcome to the Forum! have you got whites?

There appear to be lots of different thoughts on mixing species in respect of most reptiles, particularly as their habitat, diet and husbandry requirements can be so very diverse.
Also, with reptiles, it is not nearly as easy to tell when they are ill, distressed or just plain stressed out as it can be with most of our usual domestic pets. This is why most people advise against it.
Other reasons range from their tendancy to eat each other as a 'light snack' to some having toxic secretions that may harm or kill the others. Personally, from reading through various forums, my thoughts are that unless you have a lot of experience with the various types you are looking to mix, and you have enough room to create a very big environment which gives each animal the room to live without enroaching on each others environment, its probably not worth the hassle. Not to mention the cost of vets bills when things go wrong, as they often can when you keep same species together, let alone different species.
I have two sets of two whites tree frogs that I brought with an approximate 5 week gap between last November / December, and to be honest, I have not yet even considered putting the second lot into the main tank with the first lot, as the size difference alone leads me to believe there would be a fair chance of the larger ones feeding on the smaller ones, and apart from the cost, the heartache and headache it would give to me, its just not worth it. That's without going into whether I feel it would be cruel to do so.
At the end of the day, its each to their own.... but I would recommend you do a whole lot more research before you even consider going down such a route.... Good luck!... J

I do see a lot of pet shops keeping White's and anoles together, but I don't know whether I would advise it. A lot of what shops do isn't usually perfect for the animals they keep. |

Newcastle, okay Never used the waterfalls myself, they look easy enough to set up and run - We had one up for grabs on a competition on the cornsnake forum a while ago so I've had chance to have a good look at them - they seem very well put together but You'll have to change the water regularly as there is no filter - so will need to clean often as well. |
