Over Easter I spent some time in the garden, and built a pond.... an I found a nice toad to go in it... he came to visit and got stuck in a bucket in our 'wild' top part of the garden that is fenced off from the dogs, so I put him in the rockery bit by the pond, and have seen him twice since... once right outside our back door at about 1.30 in the morning when I let the rottie out... she just stuck her nose on him, had a sniff and then walked off to do her last tour of duty round the garden before sailing straight back in the door again and paying him no never mind! Bless!
there are loads of toads in a small "wood" right by where my OH lives, lot of frogs too. i love walking through there at night when im on my way home when its been raining. i had one living in the herb bit of the garden last year havent seen it back this yeah tho
I gotta outside toad!
