i am going to get a tiger salamander or fire salamander very soon and i have set up the terrarium with a thernometer but acording to that my tank is to warm is there a way to cool my terrraium down
i was thinking about letting de-chlorinated ice drip into the enclousure. Would this work.
Ive never really known anything work very well, but temperatures are usualy cooler at lower elevations, so the closer your set up is to the floor the better[my inside fire sal set ups are all on the floor]. If needed, ice packs from cooler bags can be places on the side of the tank, and replaced when the ice inside has melted etc, this will give the sals at least one area of the tank that is cooler?
