Hi guys. I'm on here now too!!!!!
Mwah ha ha ha haaaaa frog icons!!!!! .... Right, got that out of my system now.
I used to keep amphibians when I was a teenager a very long time ago (Common toad, a green frog with a silver belly (the name of which I can't remeber but it was quite pointy and not a tree frog), and a pair of Fire Salamanders that I bred successfully. As I said, that was a long time ago so I'm quite rusty on keeping amphibians.
I have an empty Exo-Terra 30x30x45(cm) glass terrarium at the moment that needs occupying. So any suggestions? I quite like the White's Tree Frogs but wasn't sure if the terrarium would be big enough.
Cheers guys . |

Hi Paul.... welcome to the amphibian
From what I have gathered there is a of different thoughts on the space whites need. I would have thought that this would be just about ok to keep two in, as they are arboreal and like to climb. I have 4 babies, 2 of which have already gone into a 30"x13"x12"... my feeling is that as long as they have branches & stuff to climb on, they should be ok... they also love climbing up the glass as well. |
If I had a brain, I'd be dangerous......

Lol - Wondered when you would get to use them! Welcome to the amphibian - A Horned frog would do well in there as they don't move about too much - many smaller frogs or toads, fire bellies maybe. I like the look of Amazonian Milk Frogs they are gorgeous little things and a couple might do okay in that size exoterra. I like salamanders as well - looking to get fire salamanders or tiger slamanders soon after The Mighty Alberto that is - They have quite a few Salamanders on www.dartfrog.co.uk |
